Hey everyone. I followed one of the adverts on here and it took me to Helium. I have had a nosey around this site before but have not used it, does anyone have any experience of this site? It sounds like a good place to showcase work but I was wondering if any of you have any first hand experience of it.

Paula,

My friend used it: http://www.helium.com/user/show/35654, but now he is writing Breast cancer (spouse's story) articles for pay at another site.

IMO, might be good to establish a presence somewhere where readers know they can find you and where you can attract other readers. Then add another "regular hangout" and do the same at both, but with fresh material for each. (I'm just guessing about all of this.) What I'm thinking is this: if you write in more than one style, it makes sense to attract a following at places where each type of reader hangs out. I would also think that it makes sense to do what you can manage to keep current.

Thank you Nadine, for the food for thought

I decided to give it a quick whirl. I've written a piece on Borderline Personality Disorder. If anyone wants to take a peek its:
