Hi guys,

Following the impressive response to my coffee shop post about a possible magazine venture, I have decided to go ahead and launch ‘Perfume And Lace’ a women’s guide to all things female.

The registered url  www.perfumeandlace.com is now LIVE!!!

The magazine will cover the following topics to start with...

Fashion (Suzie)
Predictions (Neil)
Women’s Health (jojohnson)
Women’s issues (SarahC)
Working mum’s (Sara)
Relationships (Suzie)
Short stories
Healthy eating (Symphony)
Mens Column (russ)
Agony Aunt (Candy Floss)
Travel (Bru)
Gossip (Bru)
Etc...

If there are any categories you would like to apply to write for or any that you want to suggest, then please get in touch.

At present the work is unpaid but I hope over time that will change as we attract advertisers.

I look forward to hearing from you!

Suzie x

(Topics are filling up, but feel free to suggest others!!!)

hello suzie
I think that this is a great idea, I would love to be a part of this but i am quite a new writer. I do however have three children and know all about being a modern day working mother. I also have a husband with a job that takes him away a lot so I have experience of trying to be a working mother alone too.
good luck
hope to hear form you

Hi Suzie,

What do you want to cover in women's issues?  Also, how about a gardening spot, but you know real life stuff like container gardening that doesn't require hours and hours of input!!

Let me know

Hiya Sarah,

Women's issues:

"People interested in understanding news issues from a female perspective and issues important to women. Women that are seeking a feminine voice for ideas and issues pertaining to their day-to-day life."

For gardening, great idea. Good excercise to chase away the chocolate. recent studies have shown that by doing half an hours gardening a day, you can live longer!

Let me know which you want...

Hi Suzie

Hmmm decisions, decisions, 'cos I really like both!  Would both be greedy?  I'll def do gardening, if nobody comes forward for women's issues I'll take that on too

Hi Kate,

Anything goes, except porn, horror or anything 'nasty'.

Suzie

Have you got a launch date in mind?  Also how many articles do you want and by when (my diary is getting seriously full!)

Hi,

Depending on how long it takes me to get the site up and running, I ws going to launch around mid July start of August.

You could always write some articles and 'bank' them ready to use each month!

Sat - if there is nothing there you want as a topic - invent one!

Hi Suzie,

Yep, I'll start writing and bank them, do you want me to send them to you (where), or keep them here?  Makes no odds to me.
