As you may be aware, this forum is sponsored by the electronic publishing house WCCL. They pay for our hosting (which has had to be upgraded several times as the forum has grown in popularity) and also provide technical support when required. WCCL also sponsor a range of other free services for writers, including the WritersFM online radio station, Smart Writers newsletter, and so on.

Like many companies, WCCL has suffered a downturn in business due to the current world-wide recession. Although they have said they are committed to maintaining the forum, it is important that none of us take their ongoing support for granted. I would therefore ask all members, if they value the help given to the forum by WCCL, to support them in any (or all) of the following ways:

1. Most important, check out the wide range of products for writers available from WCCL. These include my own courses such as Write Any Book in Under 28 Days and Quick Cash Writing, but many others as well. Visit their writing portal WriteStreet.com for more information. All WCCL products are professionally written and edited. They are keenly priced and come with 24-hour technical support from www.myhelphub.com if required.

2. If you have a blog or website, consider signing up as an affiliate with WCCL. This will allow you to promote any of WCCL's products on your site, and earn a commission any time someone clicks through and makes a purchase. Please read my blog article about WCCL's affiliate program for more information about this.

3. Finally, Mywriterscircle.com makes some money for WCCL (not very much!) from the unobtrusive 'Ads by Google' at the foot of the screen. Any time someone clicks on one of these, WCCL are paid a few cents by Google. I am not asking anyone to click on these ads for that reason - but if you see an ad that looks interesting (and most will be writing related), don't hold back.

Thank you all for supporting our sponsors during this difficult time.

Thanks for the info. I hope i can utilize it properly. I have this idea that i am excited about but I'm not a writer perse.  But i'm open to learning so whatever suggestions any of you have feel free to share them.

Hello. My name is rochHard I'm a sound engineer in my own recording studio.  I specialize in independant labels, bands with low budgets and tomfoolery.

No i am not a professional writer. but I wanted to connect to folks who are good at what they do, specifically, editors/writers.

My pitch is to write a tv pilot and /or web series about my life as a female sound engineer for a DIY record label. I am also a self proclaimed virgin who happens to get mistaken for thesbian all the time simply because I dress like the boys i'd like to date.  The rumour is I that I took a vow of celibacy after a terrible break up. Thats not the truth. but like i said, it is the rumor.

The show would/could provide musicians with another avenue to get heard, they'd make appearances or write songs for other folks who perform on the show.

I'm not your typical gal.  I'm 5'll brunette, (afro-american red neck feminist )  doesn't make sense I know. But it works for me.

Later.

Thank you, Nick. You can find me clicking away.

When I find some money, I might even be able to buy something from WCCL, as they are a reliable source. But in the meantime, I will be appreciative and I will click.

You can find me clicking away.

Be careful with this.  I had an author who blasted his articles out to all of his friends and family and they went click happy on them.  This resulted in his getting banned from Google AdSense, so he no longer writes for me because he can't earn anything.  Google doesn't mess around, so only click on sites that you are actually interested in from their ads.
