Review LADDERTOP

Author
:Orson Scott Card

Genre: Manga

My Review:Pretty much like Enders game, except it is geared towards Manga fans, and young women. OSC pretty much recycled the material  used in 'Enders Game'.Overall I wasn't to happy with Laddertop, Even though it is Card's first Manga I feel he could have come up with an original story idea.

Neat idea, Frank. I'll figure out something to review one of these days.

Review Miki Falls

Author
:Mark Crilley

Genre: Manga (graphic novel)

My Review: It's a very entertaining deep story with great dialogue and beautiful artwork. The manga is aimed at a teen audience, but I enjoyed it all the same. I finished all four of the books in one go.

It's set in Japan, Fukuyama, and tells the story of Miki who's now in her senior year and falls for a boy in her class, Hiro. He's extremely distant, almost rude, but Miki saw something vulnerable in him and she persuedes him. The pages are drawn with great love and care, those native to the area will recognize the scenery used in this manga.

Anyone who loves Japan, or enjoys manga should pick it up.
